“An International Financial Lecture” was held with the sponsorship of Ningshing

An international financial lecture was held by Ningbo Financial Society and Ningbo branch of China Chamber of International Commerce
(CCOIC) with the sponsorship of Ningshing Holdings in Howard Johnson Plaza Ningbo on Sep. 25th. The guest lecturer was Dr. J. Colin Dodds
who is President and Professor of Finance in Saint Mary’s University, Canada. About 300 high level leaders from banks, security companies,
Insurance corporations of Ningbo attended the meeting.
Dr. J. Colin Dodds introduced the background and international impact of Amrican mortgage subprime meltdown. He thought that as further
open of Chinese economics and involved into the world, Chinese financial sectors should take actions in terms of credit evaluation system and
supervision system to reduce credit risks.
The lecture won high opinion of the conventioneers, who thought that the lecture would do something to the revolution and development
of Chinese financial sectors.
