On May 25th, Ningshing Holdings held a mobilization conference for the subsidiaries whose main business was focused on foreign trade in Nanyuan Hotel, Ningbo. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss how to actively deal with the current grim situation, how to further seize opportunities and make full use of supportive policies, and how to jointly promote the foreign trade quality and achieve new breakthroughs. Mr. Tan Zhengguo, Executive Vice President of Ningshing, presided over the meeting.
In the first part of the conference, an authoritative official and a foreign trade expert shared their presentation. Mr. Zhangyan, Party Secretary and Director of Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Commerce, made a policy guidance speech with the main theme “how to strengthen confidence, protect the main business body, make practical measures, and make every effort to stabilize the basic foreign trade of Ningbo”. Mr. Meng Xianglong, Research Director of Ningbo Credit Insurance Industry, gave a wonderful presentation. He analyzed the current challenges and risks from the perspectives of Russia-Ukraine crisis, consumption change, supply chain and the influence of exchange rate, and proposed specific short-term and long-term countermeasures to reduce the negative impact caused by the current foreign trade challenges.
In the second part of the conference, nine representatives from the subsidiaries exchanged their insights and perceptions in combination with their respective business contents. Everyone shared their innovative measures against the current difficulties caused by order loss, logistics block, unstable supply chain and rising costs. They said that they would make every effort to catch orders, expand the market, and ensure the completion of their annual target tasks.
Mr. Huang Yongzeng, President of Ningshing Holdings, made a mobilization speech. He asked all relevant companies to stick to their goals, actively create foreign trade increments, and make every effort to improve their business scale and efficiency. He required them to adhere to the integrated development of trade, industry and research, and strive for breakthroughs in key projects. He also firmly demanded them to develop cross-border e-commerce, create new achievements with new models and seize the opportunity to expand diversified markets. Additionally, he reminded everyone to pay attention to the safety of their operations.
Finally, Mr. Wu Yigang, Chairman of the Board, pointed out that this mobilization conference was a positive response in an extraordinary period. At present, the CPC Central Committee and the State Council have issued the policies of "Six Stability" and "Six Guarantees" with unprecedented strength. The policies have released a strong signal to the whole society to put in place effective measures to cope with the risk challenges and stabilize the economic and social operations. He stressed that development was the foundation and key to solve all problems. He stressed that the general managers should bear in mind that "persistence is victory", urging them to make concerted efforts, seize the current favorable opportunity, take immediate action, and make every effort to jointly win this tough foreign trade battle. He believed that through everyone's efforts, we could make a new breakthrough on Ningshing's import and export, promote the business performance to a high level, and shine the Ningshing's foreign trade brand!
